Thanks for the info and support everyone. Ethel continues to improve. Her swelling is pretty much gone from what I can tell and most of her bruising has disappeared as well ... I'm amazed at how fast she is healing!

I am glad to hear Ethel is doing well! Sounds like Molly has a problem with other female dogs. I know a woman with 7 labs all are female because her one will attack any male dog. How long has she been with Moe? She may not have done anything to him simply because he is a male and is slightly more tolerated. She sounds as though she is still dominant but will tolerate a male before a female. A behaviorist can definitely help you sort this out. I used a behaviorist for my dogs but he is from NY and I don't know if he does road trips. Good luck with everything and give Ethel an extra big hug.
