Back from the vet

Tucker has a yeast infection in his ear. Apparently, it's not uncommon for dogs with floppy ears in humid climates to get this. The vet cleaned his ear out real good and put him on a combination anti-yeast and anti-inflammatory for 7 to 10 days.

Lesson: Remember to take time to think about what's truly important. Oh, and give your pets a hug.

one of my dogs had that, and his cartalage in his ear split and inbetween filled with infection fluid until it was about 2.5 inches instead of flat and smelt like death. our vet told us to keep putting otamax (not sure on spelling.) in his ear. we then took him to a diffrent vet and he had to have surgery... poor baby. (not to worry you.. our dog is one in a million!)

One of my cocker spaniels always got ear infections. His ear could make the entire house STINK! I would come home from school and know that it was infected again. I had a bottle of something I would have to put in his ears for a while. He was not too fond of it.
I hope your baby gets better soon!
