I am sure the couch is repairable...or maybe an excuse to get a new one! Heh.But seriously, this is the first and only thing Hogan got into and it drove me crazy because it was the god couch.I have it covered now.But now, unless he has a rawhide,I can't leave him alone. He needs to be crated if I cannot be right there with him or if I have to go out.A rawhide keeps him busy for a little bit.

Bambi and Hogan love playing and tearing around the house after once another too, until they tucker out!

Sorry about your carpet Carrie!
I never heard of a dog doing that before!!

lol we just got a new couch because our cat scratched up the other ones arms not bad, but hey it was a good exscuse...

I have no clue why he does it...its so wierd, he will just keep licking...the vet says she has no clue either...but maybe it could be he licks it instead of his sore joints...could be cause he has arthritis pretty bad.

Bambi just looks so sweet and delicate lol...Hogan is going to go through alot of chewys lol Puppies love rawhide as well lol, keeps me sane

k9lover is on a distinguished road
They are so cute.

One of my adopted dogs, Ozzy, ate 2 couches, a chair, my bed and tore up the bathroom and kitchen floors.

He suffered from seperation anxiety, nothing we did seemed to help.
We had 2 other dogs to keep him company but they are older and didn't really like to play as much. So I rescued another wonderful dog and she is only a month older than him. It took a few days but they are now inseparable.

Your welcome.

Yes,Hogan loves his rawhides.Unfortunatly tho he dislikes the kittens near him when he is chewing. He is not food aggressive when me,Bambi or even my daughter are near him,but when the curious kitties go near him while he chews on his chewies,he goes nuts at them and they don't learn.I have to either crate him with his chews or keep my eye on the kittens.
