Bambi update

I thought I would give an update on Bambi.I watched her and talked to the owner and noticed the swelling under her neck.I noticed she had trouble swallowing and did take her to the vet.
Turns out she had what they call puppy strangles.He put her on the cortsteroids for 5 days and a strong antibiotic.She weighed 4.5 pounds the day I took her and a week later had jumped up to 6 pounds.She is very happy and healthy and rules the roost around here.
This is why I posted the other thread to let people know the signs of this.You have to have both drugs to treat them for puppy strangles.

Looks like this thread got burried Runt...I just noticed it!

Anyway, sounds like Bambi is doing great though! You must be SO relieved!! I'm glad they figured out what it was and were able to treat it. How about an update picture??
