Bambi's Spay

So Bambi (foster) turned out to be pregnant.I started suspecting it when she was getting a rounded belly and her nipples were swelling,not to mention she started throwing up and leaking milk.

We got her to the vet and she was indeed pregnant,so she went for an emergency spay.She has a heart condition and the pregnancy was too hard on her.Plus there are already too many unwanted dogs,so it was for the best.

It has been about a week now and she is doing well.Her inscision is healing nicely and she has been sleeping more,but she is doing much better.

Just thought I would share.

Yeah,she is a little sook! Haha.She was more sooky after the surgery too and didn't even wanna go outside to pee or anything!

I know.We don't know how she got pregnant.It must of happened just before the rescue got her.But the spay was for the best.

Thank you.She is starting to feel better,but still sleeping alot.That could be the meds she is on tho...she is on some pills for her heart.
