Beagles!

Well, my Beagle is 6 years old and she has done great with all of my bunnies....
We let her chase them around the backyard for a few minutes, but when we tell her to stop, she does.. She's doesn't even really bother them when they are inside or out...

It all depends on the individual dog.Some have the instinct to hunt/chase rabbits more then others.We rescue ex-hunters who learn to live indoors and they get on best kind with bunnies and other small animals,while other cannot and just wanna go after small animals and bunnies.If you get a puppy,I am sure you would also be able to train it not to chase your pets.

My Beagle is great! We don't have any problems with her and the Rabbits... I've never tried to take her hunting or anything like that and we treat her like a person, not a dog!! She's very, very, very spoiled... She even has to have alittle bit of Milk in her bowl at night before she will go to bed!! No Joke!!

I have had Zoe around a bunny and kitties and she just sniffs them. If anything she rolls over submisively.

Thats cute... My Beagle doesnt really care for the baby bunnies... She's just thinking, great more strange animals in my house..

i think that all depends on the dog itself i had a yellow lab that was great with rabbits some have a high pray drive some don't.
