Congrats on the new little "man" in your life, Christi... they're hard work, but if I can find the bliss in being a parent, (and I wasn't all that excited about it at first) You'll have no problem!
And good info in here, too. A lot of people don't realize how much should really go into bringing a pet into the house... most think "It's a dog, he'll be fine as long as I feed him". But it really ought to be more involved than that. Good pointers on keeping your pup safe and "pup-proofing" your home. Invaluable information.

It's so true. I didn't realize getting a dog was practically like having a kid. I'm someone who wanted to be the best dog parent ever, and doing that is tough. Thanks!

It's great that this was stickied, my Beau is just like a child (sort of) If you don't watch him 100% of the time he will eat/steal/demolish something, But I couldn't live without him

Certainly a good article to know more about a pet. For us this is a part of our family and like our kid. They really refresh you whenever you get back from office and their tails and all.
Boy first name whenever I get into my home is Sam my dog.
