Best puppy food?

What are the criteria for a good puppy food? We feed our dog Innova so we were thinking of Innova Puppy for our newest addition. Any suggestions?

Innova is a good food. If you do a search for dog foods, you'll find several threads on this topic with a wealth of information.

My dogs eat Canidae and do great.

It is very important not to feed your puppy or dog any food that has by products in it because that is the scraps of chicken and beef, etc.. that are not nutritious. Look for food that the first ingredient is chicken or fish, or lamb. Also look for digestible grains such as brown rice and oatmeal. I feed my puppy Nutro Chicken, Rice and Oatmeal flavor. It does not contain by products or corn. Stay away from corn because it does not digest well. You will notice the cheaper dog foods have by products and corn in them. I have heard good things about Innova as well. It has wonderful ingredients in it. I may start my puppy on Innova once he is an adult. Another good food is Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Duck & Potato.
