Biscuit is becoming way to vocal...help needed

Ok well biscuit seemed to have settled down at first and stopped with the seperation anxiety...since getting better however her vocals are back. she doesn't seem to do it when we are not around but if she is outside and we are inside she'll make the most bizarre noises (like a high pitched seal at times, and like a group of chirping birds at other times). I ignore her unless I see her trying to dig her way out and then I just say a frim 'Biscuit no' and she stops digging. Sometimes she'll stop her noise making for a while but if she isn't digging and I say 'Biscuit No' it does nothing.
She has been inside with us a lot cause it's been soooo hot and she was sick but now that she is better she'll be outside more. If I've decided I've wanted her inside I wait for a break in her talking, go outside and make her sit before I'll open up the gate to let her out. I make her stay on her bed when she is inside and if she does stay on it (after a while she gives up and stays there, remember I'm under the impression this dog was allowed everywhere and probably even slept on the bed) I'll get down with her and give her a belly rub and lots of cuddles etc. to make it lots of fun for her. She won't play with toys so I can't give her toys to distract her with, I do have a treat ball that I've never tried with her but she won't eat dog food so what would I put in it?

She is sleeping inside for now, we need to get some secure locking on the gate cause Staffy's are getting stolen like anything around here at the moment for dog fighting. No-one would be able to jump the fence cause there is nowhere for your footing but I need to get a lock for the gate to make it more secure.

Anyone got any ideas to make her stop?? She gets fed bones for breakfast and if she wants to be outside she doesn't talk at all, but if I put her out and she doesn't want to be there, or she's had enough of being there, that's where I run into trouble.

something to put in her treat ball that she should love in PEANUT BUTTER! not homemade (not good for them) but the kind from the supermarket, aka: Jiff or something. they also have Kong stuffing (smells like peanut butter or liver, etc..) that works really well. does she likes ice cubes? try those! try making peanut butter ice cubes too.

i think that if you teach her to speak, then she will start being quiet. let me explain:
if she learns to speak on command, she might think of it as an act that requires a command from you. you should also teach her a SPECIFIC word for being quiet. how about........"quiet"? haha. say that instead of no and i think it will help her understand. maybe she doesn't know that you are referring to her barking. i find that using specific words instead of a catch-all "no" works better. if she is howling, just gently pull on her collar and say "Quiet". maybe hold her mouth closed so she gets it. i think overall she sounds pretty well behaved. i just don't think she understands what you want.

good luck and keep us updated!

That sounds like a good idea formula! She loves peanut butter but won't get it out of her kong so I don't know how she'll go with it in a treat ball. She has just stooped talking after an hour of it. She does give up eventually!lol she is fairly well behaved, just getting used ot her surroundings i think but I want to make sure I train her properly from the start.
Pure my girl is not that loud thankfully!! She doesn't bark at all just does that strang enoises and I doubt that the neighbour would hear it!
