Mandie yep she needs more running on the beach!!! It's been too hot to transport her there lately...but we took her last weekend. she is getting her fair share of walks too! No shorter than 45 minutes each time!
Purple I'll keep you updated...but I'll only be weighing her once a month
Jane I keep trying to get cute pics of Biscuit but she just does not want her pic taken lately!!! I'll keep trying for you!

she actually can't have anything like that at all ninja. My dog is allergic to ALL commercial dog products....even the best on the market. she gets fed a barf diet. For her, a treat is a banana, or a couple of pieces of bbq chicken, or cheese....she will get them again. But for the first couple of weeks she won't be. She actually loves her meal food and gets so excited that she will spin around the house! So I'm not too concerned about her missing out on her treats cause her meals vary all the time anyway!

barf diet is commonly known as bones and raw foods. Basically they get fed what they would eat if out in the wild. 60% of the food is bones...chicken carcass's etc and then they eat raw vegies (blended), fruits, egg, cottage cheese, yoghurt, tuna, offal, etc. You can do a search on yahoo for barf but it gets really confusing but it will give you more of an idea as to what it is anyway! I only got into it because of biscuit's allergies but I wouldn't feed a dog any other way these days and am even thinking about putting my cat on it!

nope not at all! I get the offal from trusty butchers...only for the hydatid tapeworm...which is actually more harmful to me than it is to Biscuit! She's a super healthy girl!!! THe barf diet is becoming more and more popular. If you do a search on here for barf diet you'll get some links...they have views from both sides I've been feeding my dog this for a year and have had no problems...the vet nurse I work with has fed her dogs this for years and her dogs are extremely healthy!

Poooorrr Biscuit. Your mama is being so mean to you.
Tell poor Biscuit she has my support and I'm hoping her mama doesn't starve her too much.
(Just playing, Carmen! Get that Biscy-girl in shape again! )
