Breeding question. Why are the dogs acting like this?

We brought a friend's dog over. Her name is Daisy. She is an 8lb Yorkshire Terrier. Our male, Hershey, is about 4 pounds. They have never met before. When we introduced the dogs, they were fine at first. Then Hershey started chasing Daisy and she ran all over the house to get away from him, she would climb on chairs, etc. We tried putting her in a kennel, and we now have Hershey in the kennel. He is whining, and she is not being friendly. She is finding hiding places, and being strange. How can we introduce them so they will be able to breed? She IS in heat, after all she was backing up to their male they had at their home, who's fixed.
We do have another female, Nestle, but she is not in heat, and can't have puppies, we've tried.

In a little more detail, Daisy, the female, is NOT my dog. The other male was at HER house, not here. Daisy is visiting. She is in unfamiliar territory. We are not trying to FORCE her to do anything! And yes, we are going to use the STUD FEE to buy another Yorkie or two, depending on how much the puppy is worth. And the Yorkie's we BUY, are going to be 1) my little baby puppy, and 2) Hershey's mate.

Anyone know if putting scent e.g. vanilla on two cats will help them get along?

I don't know the answer to your question, obviously you are inexperienced in the breeding area and should not be pursing this. This should be left to the professionals. Just because you love a breed of dog and own a purebred, does not give you the right to breed. Hundreds of thousands of dogs are euthanized each year simply because they don't have a home. And yes it includes purebreds. Save a life don't breed, unless you have a show dog get your dog fixed.

Just my opinion.
