Bring Your Dog to Work day

Today is bring your dog to work day... for me at least.

Last week, I noticed some smelly, dark brown gunk in Tucker's right ear and cleaned it out. Friday evening, I noticed it was back, so I cleaned it out again (saving a sample this time to take to the vet). I'm thinking it may be an ear infection, so I called the vet this morning to make an appointment and they can get him in at 4:30. My boss is really easy-going and has a dog of his own, so Tucker is here at work with me today, patiently waiting for his appointment.

He's such a good boy. He's laying on the floor by my desk, just looking around.

Lesson: Remember to take time to think about what's truly important. Oh, and give your pets a hug.

Awww, cute! I wish I could bring my dogs to work with me. I work in a medical office, so I doubt it would be a good idea. Although I think Bruce would do a good job of cheering people up.

I am sorry to hear that he might be sickly. Hope his ears get better soon. Sounds like a yeast infection maybe? Katie had one over the summer from swimming so much, black chunky stuff is what I cleaned out of her ear. I got some ear drops and it cleared up quick. The vet also gave me "swimmers ear" for dogs and we haven't had a problem since.

I used to take my dog to work every day. I worked in a nursing home and he was so obedient and the elderly loved him. It was good therapy for them. Sad part is my b-friend stole him out of my back yard when i was at work once and i never got him back. He was ticked cause I dumped him.

Mine came to work with me when she was a baby - I got her at 3 wks, and had to bottle feed, and couldn't leave her alone...

She also came to real estate meetings when I was buying my house, and I bottle fed her while I signed paperwork.
