I didn't say the cats were thrilled with the change in diet. I imagine they sat around, and noticed the coincidence of new "puppy" and now there food taste's awful. They were disgruntled and tried to hold a hunger strike at first but the two cats love to eat and eventually decided to eat it. Now they eat it without any fuss, and another dog added to the house now, they lay about on higher ground discussing when those DOGS are going to leave.
It does make a huge difference in shedding around here. I had originally put the cats on it to help them with their weight issues. I don't weigh the cats and while i feel they have dropped a few pounds, they still carry about there hanging down, wobbling cat tummies. Maybe those just get all stretched out after being so heavy and don't go away? It's helps them stay a little more humble....who am I kidding. They are two spoiled rotten princess kitties.
