Chihuahua teeth problem

My little poopster (no i did not name him that was logan) has been acting strange lately and I noticed when he was eating last night he acted like he was having trouble. I had made cheeseburger and since there was a little meat left over I cooked it up and let him have it, and he seemed to have a hard time chewing it. So today he suddenly wanted in my lap (has not done that in a few months) so I took the chance to look in his mouth and noticed that all of his front teeth between his canines look to be broken off. I have no idea how he could have broke them. I try to check his teeth atleast once a month (I clip nails and all that at least once more often if needed) but the last time I checked which was just over a week ago everything looked fine. Has any one had this happen or heard of it before? He just turned six on Thanksgiving day.

marmilla will become famous soon enough
Could he have gotten a hold of something really hard to chew on? A dachshund breeder in my area told me a story about how her doxie broke her tooth on a pitchfork :-S

Frankie has broken two teeth. I am not 100% sure but I believe he did it by tugging on his blankies. He loves to play with his blankets and will tug them out of his kennel. I have caught him more than once trying to pull them out through the bars. And yes the door is open!
BTW he broke the teeth at two different times. The second one happened after he had the first broken tooth abcessed and had to be removed. But I knew that was going to happen. I could see red on his tooth. I don't think the tooth that is broken now is going to abcess.
