I don't think I have posted on here about finally getting my puppy - so I thought it was due time.
A short background - For the last 8 years I have lived in a moble home park where dogs are not allowed. For the last 6 years I have been actively trying to get this rule abolished. I spent several hours typing up forms, documents & photos listing rules, regulations & info on small
breed dogs. Our yards are not very big so in fairness - a large breed dog would not be appropriate. I presented this info to the manager (at the time) & owners & was still denied. Since then we have gotten a new manager who has been helping me try to win my case. Well about 3 weeks ago - I received that long awaited phone call!!! Using my rules/regulations - they are now allowing us to have 1 small dog per household!!! Of course I couldn't wait ... I had to find the puppy I had long been waiting for!!!
Without further adeau -- meet CJ! His AKC registered name is Child of Justice - CJ not only short for that - but also for "Chad Jr" since he is the 2nd male in the household (Chad is my hubby for those of you who don't know). Ironically he was born on my & Chad's anniversary (1-14-07).
This is when he first came home:
3 months old:
He is an AKC registered purebred Pomeranian.
It is amazing at how fast he learns ... we are still working on the house breaking thing - but for the most part he does pretty good. He already knows if we say "kennel" to go to his kennel (at night or when we aren't home) & also knows the "sit" command as well as to retrieve a toy for fetch. We are currently working on "lay down".
He plays with the cats & ignores the bird & fits into our family perfectly!!
Anyway - just wanted to share!
