Chiuahua still won't drink water!

Strangest thing I have ever seen! She does NOT want to drink water! She will tolerate a little being given with an eye dropper, but she doesn't like it. I water down her food so she will get some liquid in her and force some in her with the eye dropper. What the heck?? I don't get it!

chihuahua's can be picky. my friend's chi will only drink out of her one specific bowl. was she owned by any else before you? this could be it.
if you have always had her, then you might want to take her to the vet first and foremost. she could have tummy problems and drinking water hurts. ??

Yes, she has seen the vet. And thank goodness last night she finally started drinking water on her own! I don't know what the deal was. It was like she was afraid of the water bowl or something? Or water wasn't as tastey as momma's milk. I dunno. I am just VERY glad she started drinking it on her own. I was getting very worried!

I am glad she is drinking water! Maybe she was just unsure with all of her new surroundings?

I'm glad she is drinking now! Just keep a really good eye on her and make sure she doesn't start that again. Thats kinda weird.

Yeah, she drinks out of her water dish all the time now. I don't know what the deal was. She just all of a sudden was okay with doing it. I think she just wanted me to worry about her. LOL Stinker.
