Just a small update, but a happy one.
I took Colleen to Petco on Saturday because they were doing low cost vaccinations and she is due this week. The vet doing the vaccinations was running over 30 minutes late, so poor girly had to wait in line for an hour. She behaved so well; I'm very proud of her. Any time she started to get antsy, I'd tell her to sit and then I'd kneel next to her and pet her for awhile. She sat every time, the first time I said it. When it was her turn, she shook on the table because she was scared, but she didn't try and jump down. She didn't even flinch when she got her shots. I had told the vet that she was scared because of all the vet trips for the mange treatment. Colleen got the best compliment any vet could've given:
"Wow, her coat looks so beautiful that I never would've guessed that she ever had mange." The vet could not believe that she had to be shaved down at Christmastime for mange treatment because she looked so good.
I was so proud.
