She said in the letter she sent me that
animal control asked her to foster again. Personally, I think it's more like they got tired of her calling 5 million times a day, asking to foster again, so they let her. But then again, the lady in charge did say that they were desperate for fosters, so maybe they did ask.
I certainly hope she learned a lesson about "letting go" during the adoption proccess so that the adopters of this dog don't go through what we did.
The dog needs an amputation and they want her to foster it so that it can heal up inside rather than sitting in one of their outdoor kennels where dirt/etc can get to the incision. I wonder if she'll actually keep this dog inside or not.
I know she means well and that she wants to help; I just hope that this dog gets the attention and affection he deserves and that the future adoptive parents don't have any trouble with the adoption proccess. Please keep this little guy in your thoughts.
