The second corgi meeting was great. We were over at Greg's house, so Nick felt much more comfortable. They chased each other around for awhile. Nick has excellent herding talent. He quickly learned that he couldn't outrun Ein, so started trying to outsmart him, by going the opposite of Ein so he could head him off.
Nick is a little leary of Ein, but is not scared of him. He doesn't like that Ein likes to grumble. When Lucas and Ein were playing tug of war and Ein was grumbling at Lucas, Nick got very upset. He barked at Ein and put himself in between the two, as if to protect Lucas from Ein. Then the most amazing thing happend. Mr. Dominant- Alpha Male Ein backed down. I have never seen him back down to another dog before. Ever. Anytime Ein grumbled at someone, Nick barked at him. Anytime Ein tried to play rough or jump in someone's lap, Nick barked at him. I was so worried that Nick would be intimidated by Ein, but he isn't at all.
Also, does anyone know how to edit a video? I got a cute video of Ein with the sprinkler, but it's too big to load into youtube or photobucket. They both have a max of 100mb, and the video is 164. If anyone knows how I can shorten it, let me know.
Here is my Nicky boy.
The two together:
And Ein
