No I don't have a beware sign.

Basically because my dog would welcome anyone who comes in.

I have one as my guy is not stranger friendly, would he bite, well i dunno, but i'd rather warn people than have them open the gate and suddenly find themselves confronted by 50kg + of angry dog. And an Access by Appointment ONLY underneath it.
If my dog bites them, regardless it will be a fight for his life, sign or no sign. But a sign does make it a bit easier to fight for him as people were pre-warned.

I think alot of people associate the beware of dog sign with an aggresive dog, I guess I always have, but I got it in hope people would think that lol, I have 4 love bugs, Puppers is everyones friend, Lady will hide in her hole if she sees a stranger, and the puppies typically run, but as of late have been on their guard (guy on school roof shooting all the neighborhood dogs with air soft, as well as police running through yards, scares my babies) Would they bite, I don't know, I know they have left many strangers alone in the yard, ecept the one guy Libby got his shoe, and that was when the police were chasing him and he had a weapon, I can only hope my signs detere people, make people think I got some killer dogs lol, maybe then we will continue to have one of the few homes that has not been robbed...last week the police came through and gave people beware of dogs signs free if they had a dog, they told us it also helps them know a safe yard and a yard with a dog...guess they jumped into one to many yards with a dog and no sign...they gave us stickers to to put on the windows of the rooms the animals are in in case of fire, that way the firemen knew where they were to save them...neighborhood watch also gave out signs, they also gave people fake alarm signs lol...I think the signs stand for different things depending on where you live or truely on your dogs...I love my signs because they do seem to make people second guess coming over the fence...

I actually never had one until the neighbors behind us who do not live in our addition started jumping our fence so I made my own sign...It says BEWARE OF THE DOG YES THEY BITE NO I DON'T CARE IF THEY BITE YOU IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE TRESPASSING....
I also made my own no trespassing sign...
NO TRESPASSING...
I am tired of fixing my fence because you have no RESPECT for others property...I will call the police the next time you are found trespassing.
THANK YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY.

We have some posted, but only because the people living here before us left them. theres also a no trespassing sign posted on the back gate. We had them posted when i was living at my moms house, but you had to because people cut through yards all the time there, and a cop told my mom that even if someones trespassing they can still sue you if they get bit and theres no sign posted. Thats not really a big problem here, most people have privacy fences, so you cant really tell if theres a dog.. and well this is Oklahoma so most people have guns too so i suppose that prolly helps some lol

I find it ridiculous that if someone is trepassing on your property and gets hurt (dog bite, trips, falls) they can sue you. It makes my blood boil. They are doing something illegal and some how the home owner is at fault! UGH!
I don't have any signs posted. I think we need one that says "never mind the dog beware of the owner" but then again my husband makes that clear any time he sees someone letting their dog pee on his grass. My own dogs are not allowed to pee on our front lawn! And they are restricted to the one side of the yard.
I like that beware of turtle sign - I need one of those for our yard because Oscar really is mean!
I do want one that says - No Solicitors - All Solicitors will be chopped up and fed to the killer rabbits. We always have people knocking on our doors asking us to buy magazines or vote for them. I hate it because Jay is usually not home. I don't answer and just let the dogs go crazy barking.

Considering Diesel is a maliti-poo and wouldn't hurt a flea, that sign would be more of a joke than a true statement.
