we have the sweetest little maltesse. We got her from the humaine socitey about 4 months ago and she is so sweet. She has her "pretty puppy prance" after she gets groomed. She loves to be held and loves to go bye bye. You will love a maltesse, so long as you can stand the million puppy kisses and the snuggling!

Stand it?!! We just got up from a turkey-induced nap and now she's nibbling my toes....

We think my Snooper is half Maltese and her fur is VERY high maintenance. She gets a bath twice a week. She's a little doll though. She's become a little more *grumpy* as she's got older but she's still my princess. She's very friendly to people but she's not thrilled with strange dogs. She's really good with dogs here though. She cuddles and plays with Tito all the time. And loves to harass Manto. She's really good with Louie (hedgie), whenever we have him out, she will sit nearby and watch. If he tries to leave the room, Snoop herds him back in the room.

What is the place called? I got mine from Morrisville.
My little guy cost me $850.00 and is worth a million bucks!!
What do you want to know? I have had Malteses all my life and I can truly recommend them.
They are a loyal, loving little dog.
They DO need daily brushing and baths.
Here is my litle guy the day I brought him home.

I just have to stick my experience in here, I've worked for a vet for 15 years and managed never to get bitten, until last Tuesday, by a Maltese. Little guy ran right up to me and bit me on the calf!

Now I'm not generalizing, just want to add be sure to socialize your puppy with lots of different people and situations, the one who bit me USED to be momma's little baby, until she had 3 children, and now the dog spends most of the day locked in the laundry room behind a child safety gate, NOT because of aggression, but because she "just doesn't have the energy to deal with him".

You wouldn't believe how much it still hurts!
