Shadow never wears a coat. He loves the snow. When I lived in the apartment I would be freezing and he would refuse to come in. He would be content staying out for hours on end but I make him come in. He goes out and rolls in the snow like he's trying to make snow angels. I considered booties for him last year because of all the rock salt my apartment put down, but normally his paws are ok.
Here's some pics of him playing in the snow. He wasn't out long, it was just snowing really big flakes!

Thank you They are some of my favorites, although I have about 50 favorites LOL
almost forgot (had to edit) you can see behind him the bare areas where he was rolling on the porch. He is such a nut in the snow.

Penny is cute too, i wanna find allie a sweater kinda like that, but i dont like the way they all hang down on the bottem, im afraid it would trip her up, i might find one and alter it a bit maybe.. i dunno
~~~
My moms rottie plays in the snow like that too, she loves it.. sadly she trys to do it no matter how little snow is actually out there and ends up rolling in the mud! but its soo cute to see a huge rottie trying to roll in a tiny pile of snow!
Stella, my 4 mos old Great Dane, shivers and shivers! Her ears and feet get icy cold, and her body is cold to the touch. Its only 60ish degrees!
I'm going to go to Walmart and get her some kids' shirts and sweatshirts. She's so pitiful!
Frankie and Belle both have tshirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and coats. Frankie LOVES to get dressed up. I was so excited when I finally got my girl dog. I dressed her up in dresses and she HATED it. She still does not like it but she tolerates it. She is better when it gets colder out. She does not mind the sweatshirts if she is cold. It is hard to find things they don't walk out of. Those little short legs!
Yep I use swaters and rain coats on my poodles . Rufus has one ornage sweater. They keep them warm and protect their coat from getting messy.
 thanks for the compliment.  He certainly keeps me smiling.
He gets away with a lot of little rascal behavior because of that face. When he plays, he is such a little teaser. LOL His grandpuppy parents give him way too many treats and/or people food, pet him constantly, play with him, let him play with anything he wants (like their slippers), hug & kiss him, spoil him rotten. Our parents act like little kids around him...it's too funny.
When we take him out to the beach or outdoor mall, it's like we're out with a little celebrity...Everyone who sees him goes nuts over him. He soaks it all up...and to make matters worse, Elvis Knows he's cute & plays it up whenever he can.(He certainly lives up to his name. LOL)
here's a recent pic of Elvis smiling, showing off his cuteness & mugging for the camera right after his haircut.
Hogan in his coat last Winter- he was such a puppy! Natalie was jealous, as you can see. Natalie has a sweatshirt she wears- but she's probably too fat for it this winter. She really doesn't need it, but she thinks she should get to wear one if the others do.
That coat is likely too small for him this year. I need to get him a new one and one for Pagan, too. Her feet are already cold in the mornings. Not sure if she will wear boots, but going to look for her some. I saw some darling pink leg warmers at the mall and talked myself out of buying them. If they still have them next time, I am getting them for her. They were pink with metalic sequins on them- keep her skinny little legs warm, maybe. LOL
That coat we bought from someone who makes them and donates part of the money to Ratbone Rescues- the rat terrier rescue- I will see if they are doing it again this year and post the link. They will make them protty much to order- colors, patterns, size, etc.
