Dogs for sale
Are you tired of watching your favorite tv show uninterrupted? Would you like to hear the high pitched bark of a dog standing by the door wanting to go out for the fifth time in a half hour...not because she actually has to potty but because she enjoys eating the apples that are falling from the tree. Are you sick and tired of going to work without dog hair on you clothes? Do you feel the urgent need to vaccuum your couch and carpet on a daily basis...sometimes twice a day when you're expecting company but currently don't have a legitimate reason to do so? Would you like to pick up poop out of your backyard every other day (but sometimes less than that because you have 2 dogs that have a fecal fascination)?
Then do I have a deal for you! For 7 easy payments of $99.99 you could own 2 lovely Bull Terriers. Note they occassionally like to fight over toys, they must be walked daily, and they have a curious habit of eating each other's poop and then running into the house to give kisses. They also don't come when called...especially during their 2 am potty break when all the neighbors are sleeping and they KNOW you won't scream at them. Also, any food product left on the table or counter tops is considered fair game so protect your dinners accordingly.
Red Doberman not included!
Ok....so I'm kidding here....or am I?

Gotta love stubborn dogs. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
In our house, it's always a matter of wills. Ein knows perfectly well who's boss, but every so often he has to be reminded. The boy just loves to test his limits.
Can I get away with stealing Tucker's rawhide without mommy or daddy seeing?
Oooh! Tucker just put his carrot down. If I grab it real quick, I wonder if I can eat it before mommy or daddy has time to finish saying, "Ein! Drop it!"
Yes, you may rub my belly sometimes because you are the boss, but if I'm not in the mood, I reserve the right to turn into Mr. Grumbles. Ditto when it comes to touching my butt.
I can't be mommy and daddy's boss, but I can still be dominant over Tucker.

After seeing a shepherd come in with a gunshot wound: "You know we pretty much just paid for Ein all over again." (Pats him on the head.) "I'd do it again if he needed us to."
Lesson: Remember to take time to think about what's truly important. Oh, and give your pets a hug.

Based on the phone conversations I've been having with my mom lately, I think she's willing to sweeten the pot with a west highland white terror. Buy two get one free kinda deal? She's rotten anyway, but the changing of the seasons seems to get her sooo riled up! Maybe it's just 'cuz all the critters that hibernate are being extra active gathering winter stores (Sassy's hunting drive is extremely well programmed).
