Ear twitching?
Zoe's (my beagle) left ear has been twitching a lot lately. Its always her left ear. And it does it really often. Is this normal? Is it anything to worry about?

Maybe she has an irritation, have you had a look in her ear?

I would check her ear and see if there is any build up or anything else going on in there. She may be twitching it because it's irritating or itching her. Have you tried cleaning her ears lately?

Have you smelled her ears?? That sounds like a possible ear infection to me.

Yeah, that's usually how it is with an infection for most of my dogs. Although, I have took one of my dogs in because of that and he didn't have an infection either.

Mirra was digging at her left ear last week and had some gunk in it. It didn't smell bad so I wasn't concerned until she kept scratching and twitching it more often. Jeff took her to the vet for me since I had to work and sure enough, she had an ear infection.

Just thought I would update. She went to the vet Friday, got all her shots she was due for, and I had him check her ears. it wasnt an infection, just a little irritation, he gave us some panalog ointment and it has helped.
