Ein is such a smarty pants!
As you probably already know, Ein has taught himself quite a bit of English. He goes to the door when you ask him if he wants to potty, go for a walk, or go for a ride. He runs to the bathtub when you say the word "bath" (the dogs bathe in the same tub as us) and he runs to the food bin when you say "dinner". Well, this weekend, he outdid himself.
We were at my future father in law's house, and I asked Ein if he wanted to go for a walk. He got up and started running to the door. I stood up, started to follow him, and then said, "Ein, I need to go potty first. Then we'll go for a walk." That little dog ran into the into the laundry room, all the way to the other side and through the door to the half bath. He stood in front of the toilet and waited for me. When I walked in the door, he moved over in front of the sink so that I could stand in front of the toilet and close the door. How on earth did he understand that *I* needed to potty and not that I was asking him if he needed to go?

Sara, I'm sure I will have tons of Ein stories in a couple weeks. He is going to Gatliburg with us for Memorial Day weekend/week. He's always on his absolute best behavior on vacation because he knows what a rare treat it is.
Everyone, get ready for tons of Ein on vacation pictures soon!
