Sorry it's taken me so long to update. I did wind up having to go into work today for awhile.
I talked to Dr. Lee at 7:30 this morning. He said that it could be that he ate something he shouldn't have, which is very likely. Ein is notorius for "vacuuming" our floor, plus we have a "blueberry" tree at the end of our trailer that look exactly like the blueberries he ate in Atlanta that gave him diahhrea. He said that it could also be that he picked up a virus somewhere. He said that both generally only cause problems for about 12 hours, and since it had been 6 hours since the last time Ein threw up, he said to monitor him for the morning, don't feed him anything. If he hasn't thrown up by noon, give him a little bit of lunch. If he can't keep his lunch down, bring him in and Dr. Lee will fit him into is schedule. I was at work so I didn't get to feed him until about 2, but it is 3:15 now and he is still keeping it down!
Thank you all for thinking of him.

He still hasn't gotten sick again and he is eating normally now! I'm so glad that he recovered so quickly.
Sarah, Ein rhymes with "mine". Odd spelling, I know. It's the name of a Pembroke Welsh Corgi on an anime series called Cowboy Bebop. It's also the german word for the number one, though Ein was a brilliant dog, so I think the name was more in reference to Einstein. (I took german in high school-that's the only reason I know this)
Nobody ever says his name right. We usually get ee-in (like Ian) when someone sees it written. Though now most people at the vets office just says "how do you say his name again?" A few, like Dr. Lee-our favorite vet there, remember how to say it. Usually when people ask what his name is and I say it for them, they think we are saying I'm or Iams.
When we were in on vacation last, we took him in for a characiture drawing and the lady needed to know his name so that she could get his attention, etc. I just said we call him "Ein" like in "Einstein", so she called him Einstein and he responded. If we had decided to register him with the AKC, I was going to use Little Einstein as his registered name.
