Elly Mae is in labor!
Hey, just thought I'd let you guys know that Elly Mae went into labor at 12:50 today. Labor can last from 6-24 hours so we're just sitting and waiting. She had contractions, was panting extremely hard and shivering dramatically at 12:50. Around 2:00 she began to walk around but quickly sat down and got comfortable near the couch. Around 4:00 she went back to being herself, running around and playing fetch. 6:00 is the earliest time she can give birth so we are keeping an eye on her. Her panting is supposed to go off and on so it's normal. Her temperature is 99.9 as of approx. 45 minutes ago. The vet said 7 puppies, but it's possible there are 1 or 2 more that were hiding when the x-ray was taken. I can't wait! I'm wondering impatiently if they are Jindo's or Duke's puppies. Well, wish us luck! I will update you all later today or tommorow.

Seven puppies. Two browns, three blacks, two yellow. Two males, five females. All with white chests and white feet.

Momma is good =) She finally started caring for them yesterday night, before that we had to stimulate them to go poo every hour. But she is now, thank god! The puppies are all doing great, and their Jindo's puppies, just so you all know. And I will be getting one! By this weekend I will hae pics up!

Well of course it is sad that there are now more puppies but accidents happen. It's not like you bred them on purpose.
I hope the puppy you pick remind you of your sweet Jindo. Have you tried to contact the camp ground you stayed at to check on him?
It must be fun to see the puppies and watch them grow. Oh I cannot wait to see the pictures!
