Extreme Shedding

Gumbo's a shedding machine. This was the result of one quick combing session.

Ya know what will really freak you out...take a lint roller to his back, roll it down a couple times, then look at all the hair that just came off! Major eww! Ha ha...Harlie and Max love the lint roller...The hair never seems to get less with each new sticky I use though...weird. Endless hair removal!

That's nothing!! Ever seen a GSD when they're losing their winter coat??

I didn't realize Pugs where shedders. Tito sheds just a little and Snooper not at all. Manto Monkey makes up for them.

That's a lot of hair! Munchkin, a yellow lab, sheds like crazy too! His owners have dark carpeting, not a good idea, and it's almost white with all the hair on it, and the woman vacuums daily!

you should see Odie's combing sessions... I wonder how much people would pay me for a white (with brown streaks) dog hair sweater. I could make a fortune with Odie!!!

Oh how well I know that one ... Golden Retriever with hunter green carpet ... and I have to vacuum daily. I have that lovely red Georgia clay in my back yard, so lighter carpet isn't an option. I have to brush Brittney outside during the Fall and Spring, and it looks like it snowed outside each time. Hercules (Spanish Water Dog) is considered a "non-shedder". TG, cuz he has more hair than King Kong. Of course, all dogs will shed to some extent if they're not completely hairless.

Jade, hopefully the shedding will reduce once the Winter gets here. I've found that occasional "fatty treats" (such as fat cut from steak or ham, and chicken and turkey skin) has helped to reduce Brittney's shedding. Oh, and occasionally, I'll take my Dirt Devil to her and vacuum her. She doesn't seem to mind that. LOL!

Here Here on the yellow labs! I agree on that, that fur looks like nothing... Nellie leaves a pile much more than that just from petting her! Brushing you could make a coat almost!

It's so, so bad with my white GSD. Me wearing black most of the time doesn't help either. Atleast my new boy is mostly black. I don't know how much a Collie sheds but I think he's got the GSD shedding going on.

Oh my, I have to brush phoebe daily, and vaccuum the entire house daily, too. She is a year-long shedder and she is lab/german shep so it's ALL OVER. Never ends. I could just pull out clumps. XD We find hair everywhere; stuck in out football chairs, in the car, outside, stuck in our pillows. XD AHH!
