I am going to be searching the shelters for my perfect doggie(s) match soon and I thought of how my sis in law found hers. Just a cute little story I thought I would share...
My brother and sister in law decided they were going to get a dog and looked at different breeds but didn't want to pay all that money for a pet and my sis in law just really wanted a mutt. A while back she had a
Jack Russel Terrier but when her daughter was 2 he became very jealous and bit her a few times. They found him a better home with out kids (a friend of hers).
They were driving down the driveway on thier way to the shelter and saw something in the shed. They never made it to the shelter.....In the shed was a dog, probably looking for food. He is a shepard mix and is now their dog Pepper. He is a wonderful well mannered friendly dog and takes so much abuse from the 5 year old (ya know the pink doll clothes and tiaras) with out a single complaint.
Isn't it funny how fate just works!
) Well either way another life was saved!
