I am keeping her. We having been tossing around the name Hope. Im not sure yet.

I am not going to look for original owners. If they had a litter of puppies outside, they are not worthy enough to have her back. I don't even know where to start, she was found out in the boonies in the middle of the woods.

Good news is, she was a lot more alive this morning. She actually ran around a bit and pottied outside with no problems. She actually woke me up by nibbling on my hand.

She is just so cute.

I'm so happy she's doing better!! I like the name Hope, too.

I'm glad you are keeping her.

Oh and........................MORE PICS!

On the original owners - sometimes puppies get out. I mean, they could have had them all playing outside for a bit, ran inside for a minute to get something, and she was gone when they came back. I don't know. I just want others to know that you should always try to find the owners. But I know in your case it would be hard to find a starting point since she was in the woods. She could be from a town over. ???

I understand what you are saying. I don't think that this is the same issue though. Why would they leave a 6 week old puppy outside by itself? Where were the other puppies and mother? Why wasn't it in a fenced, safe area. I just don't have much faith in people these days. I know that I can give her a better home than where she came from. She wills ALWAYS be safe with me.

Where I live is all rural. There is one town but it was 10 miles away, so I don't think she came that far! If I see any signs, ad in the paper, etc. about her, I will contact them. I just don't see that happening.

I looked for more for about an hour. That was half of the reason I skipped class. I was afraid that there might have been more. My first thought was that someone had dumped her and possible others. But from her wounds, she was clearly taken from somewhere. I really hope she was the only one.

I am so glad you are keeping her. She is so sweet and adorable. I like the name Hope. It's very pretty - just like she is!
Please give your new puppy kisses for me.

And she is a good girl going outside to potty!
