I have a 9 month old maltese,I feed her the same organic food I fed my other dog....who by the way never had nasty breath or stinky farts...but my 9 month old does....eewww gross!! I don't even really like her licking me...isn't she to young to have gnarly breath?I looked at her gums and they look pink and healthy.... I've been giving her greenies but that doesnt seem to help either....anyone have any ideas????

hi, nice to meet you. I have a Maltipoo (mom poodle, dad maltese) & he is almost 7 months old. I hope you like it here as much as I do. Is your baby teething? The breath problem may be from the transition from baby to adult teeth. My furbaby did not have any smell to his breath until he started getting his adult teeth, his breath is just a little doggy, not really bad at all. You may want to contact your Vet to make sure it's not something like an intestinal problem.

Thank you for responding!I've heard that about teething and the change in breath. But my puppy has had her adult teeth in for a while now....but you're right I'll get her to a vet to get her checked out to make sure everything's okay.I'll let you know what he says.

When I got Toby, he had terrible breath. It turned out he had two different kinds of parasites.
