Holy Puppy Poop!
Waking up at 8:30 to blowout diarrhea on my carpet, all over the dog, on the crate, even on my bed was NOT how I wanted to start my day.
He had a piece of asparagus that fell on the floor while I was cooking dinner last night ... no more asparagus for the puppy.
He's now spending the day in his crate in the kitchen, with no bedding and no carpet to stain. The sheets are in the dryer, the comforter in the washer, and his bedding is next in the wash.

that must stink. Thats why I am weary of getting a puppy, but I'll get whatever the shelter has that I think would fit my life. Anyway no more asparagus for puppy LOL I'll keep that in mind hehehe

Isn't that the worst!!?? I have had Reggie get into things he should not have before and it is soooooo gross to clean up the consequenses. If he happens to go again in his crate I have found the easiest way to clean it out is to take it outside and hose it down. Also, Dannon makes a plain yogurt that I give to Reg for diarhea and it stops him right up. Of course you are a vet tech so you probably know that already Anyway I hope he feels better soon. Kisses to Creole from Reggie and me

At least he's not very big! My Dane went through a period of time where she had explosive diarrhea on a regular basis...luckily (or unluckily) it would usually be in her crate...so I'd wake up (or come home) to an entire very very large sized crate of poop, which usually spilled out of the grates by then, and a very very large miserable dog covered in poop.
I am GLAD that's over! *knock on wood*

My first thought was - that is not a smell anyone wants to wake up to! I remember when I had my cockers. They got a stomach virus. It was coming out both ends and it was just liquid. So gross!
I feel bad for him. His poor little tummy!
