I'm not part of a rescue organization per sa, but we basically do the same thing she is. $150 for an adoption fee isn't bad at all. We usually ask that ourselves to cover vet care and other things we purchase for an animal we get that goes to the new owner anyway Usually though, we will spay or neuter before the animal goes to the new home. If the dog is in heat though, we have them sign a voucher saying it will be done when the heat cycle is over.
As far as transportation, she should offer to meet you half way or something though...just as a courtesy

She is beautiful that is undeniable. I think you asked all the right questions, and that will work in your favor.

I also don't think $150 adoption fee is bad, especially considering what she's spent on her. If the crate come with her that's a bonus because crates that size are at least $120 by themselves.

If you want her, I so hope you get her.
