Well I have awesome news. My fiance has been wanting a dogue de bordeaux (french mastiff) for years now but hasn't had the time/space to permit one until now. We've been seriously searching for one for months to no avail. Well I think we've found one. He's been looking for months now for the *perfect dog* (we had offers, but turned them all down due to specific preferences) and recently got referred to a ddb breeder in Colorado. She has a ch. sired show quality 4 week old male for sale for $1800. I don't know how familiar with these dogs anyone here is, but they are so hard to come by. We've even considered flying to the east coast to pick a pup up, they're so hard to find. Here's a picture of the pup
And the sire:
And the grandsire:
The sire weighs 165lbs and has a 30 inch head and the dam weighs 135lbs and has a 27 inch head. Talk about huge dogs

But that's what we want. The pup won't be ready for another 3-4 weeks, and we'll be driving over to Co to pick him up. I am so excited about this, like I said before we've been looking for a ddb for months now.
