I feel like I'm starting over.

I do animal rescue and we have a pitbull beagle mix with SA...It is horable. We tried to put him in a foster home (at that time we did not know that he has SA!) and he pulled all there dry wall off of the walls, and eat all the wood behind it. He was quickly sent back to the shelter and he will probibly be there for the rest of his life. We have had him up there for almost three years now. And know one wants him! His name is Jalopy!

He's doing a little better. I think a lot of it has to do with him still being a puppy too. I taped him after I left and it seems he only barks for about 20 minutes, which really eases my mind. Some dogs will go for hours and I really didn't want that for him. We're working on the independence training, but he's being stubborn and doesn't like 'stay' at ALL.

Steph, that is encouraging to hear Gumbo is doing better. Maybe you should get Deb's Nikko to go over to your house to say "stay" and perhaps he would listen.
