I get my mum's dog every weekend now!

I'm excited about this one cause she is really my dog, I just couldn't take her when I first moved out of home. My mum and dad were away last weekend and I had her for four days and took her for a swim at the local dog pool. She loved it so much that my mum said she could come here every weekend. She's 12 years old, half blind, and suffers from arthritis so she struggles to walk these days (although she walked with us for an hour last weekend). I'm really happy cause Alex is fine to have her here and I know she'll probably only be with us for one or two more years so I feel like I get to enjoy her more cause I'll be partly owning her. Her and biscuit get along well too and Biscuit loves her being here cause apparently Cindy's bed is the best thing in the world. I can leave her unattended with the rabbits when cindy's bed is here cause she won't get off it for anything! Shadow even jumped on her back last weekend and she did nothing!
Anyway I just wanted to share cause I'm really excited...I'd take Cindy full time if my p's let me but they love her too much.

Aweee Carmen that is wonderful!!! The swimming will do her wonders at that age as well A doggy pool?? How cool is that!!!! We wanted to buy one of those smaller hard plastic ones for our dogs because the majority love the water, but all they sell around here are the blow up one's and well our dog's will chew right through it the little buggers

Thanks Guys!!! I'll post some pics of her this week.
Kim the place I take the dogs too is awesome. It's a full on inground pool with a ramp so the dogs get in and out easily. It's quite deep (I think I'd probably just be able to stand in it) and it's heated in winter. They also take care of your dog for the day if you want and they walk it etc. It's the only thing we have for dogs in Newcastle, except the dog beach but considering it has taken Biscuit three weeks just to swim she certainly isn't ready for waves yet!

Aweee poor biscuit, but she is well on her way I'm sure Sounds wonderful with the doggie pool and doggie beach. I think our herd would scare all the other's off if we had something like that here
