I have a question...

I have seen the Petsmed site and saw that they carry the same products at a lower price. Has anyone ever tried them? And if so, do you have to have a prescription for your vet to get the meds. Because if you do, I don't know how much money you'd actually be saving if you have to pay for a pet visit also. So how does that work?

I have seen those sites, but will not use them. Their prices are often lower because they import them from other countries. They are not known to be as "accurate" as what you buy from the vet either.

I know the vets can be high, but for the safety of my dog I stick to the vet.

I've used PetMeds...only for the Frontline Plus flea products...but that's it. We've NEVER had a problem with them. I don't know about the oral medications though...I prefer my vet for those sort of things
