We're hoping to have another puppy by the end of summer. We don't want to wait too long and Mirra be less receptive of a new little sister. Scarlette doesn't mind either way. She's pretty tolerant of new pups as long as they don't bite at her ears too much. We almost got a puppy early last month. It just so happened that puppy was 1/2 hour away from Kay and it would've been a perfect! I decided that I wanted to wait until Mirra was done with obedience first and then get another pup. Plus I didn't want either dog to feel left out.

Oh, forgot to say that she was pretty good in class again today except she was easily distracted. I need to practice out in public to get her over that. The trainer has agility equipment and we can walk our dogs over, around, through whatever we want before class. Mirra was zipping over the ramps and bridges like a pro. The trainer thought she'd be great in agility but I think that requires some speed and energy.....Mirra prefers walking and napping whenever possible.

Way to go on the agility Mirra!!! biscuit was pretty good at the agility too but a one hour session and she'd be snoring her head off within two minutes on the way home and would groan when I'd tell her we were home! The only thing she sucked at was going through the tunnel. She's get in there and get halfway, then turn around and come back out the same end, even with me on the other side calling her! It was hilarious! I even tried crawling in behind her (those tunnels aren't big) and she still managed to turn around and climb over the top of me to get out the same end!
Are you going to get another bull terrier when you get your new puppy? How exciting!!!!

She's beautiful! Thanks for the link!
I don't know if they would let me get her right now because I live with my mom and she has 2 cats. They said they won't place her in a home with cats. If I had my own house I would fill out an application in a heart beat!
One of the breeders I spoke to right after Riley died just emailed me today about a pup she took back because the people weren't properly caring for him. He's beautiful but I don't think I can talk Jeff into a male dog.....We need to have a chat because males make great pets too! He's worried about leg humping and I keep telling him not all male dogs do it, it can be a dominance thing, blah blah blah.

Rhonda, you need to post updates about your house hunting in The Water Cooler section! I was going to ask how that was going!

I've given up on getting excited about the house hunting. It's down right annoying now! Every house I've liked Jeff has hated and vice versa. We need to find a house quick because I really want another pup for Mirra to have a play mate. I found another dog in rescue that is deaf and I would love to get her and give her a loving home but I think it's best if we waited until we got our own place.
