i need info on agility - Paw Talk

as i have posted before i just adopted a 6mo. old border collie. i chose him b/c i want to get involved in agility. the proiblem is i have no clue how to get started. does anyone have any info on clubs or who i would call or e-mail to get started? if so i would really appreciate some tips.

i couldn't find it on the website, but does the akc have a division for mixed breed dogs? reggie is a border collie mix. i know i read or saw somewhere that there are agility divisions for rescue and mixed breed dogs i just don't know where. thanks for any direction or help.

Hmm. I think there are certain clubs that hold events allowing mixed breeds. I found this address on the AKC website that you could probably call for info. Good luck and sorry I can't be of better help...it's just that I've never competed with a mixed breed.
