Tare, you're kinda right. His coloring is more Cardigan like, isn't it? It's not so much that he's a tri-colored, because there are tons of tri colored Pems. It's his eyes. Ein is what the AKC calls a "bluie". (They consider it a genetic fault, which drives me crazy because the first thing everyone says when the meet him is how beautiful his eyes and coat are.) Between the blue eyes and the smoky tint to his black coat, he is colored more like a Cardi.
