Ok, YOU asked for it!

We used to have a Lynx Point Siamese named Lynx. (oh how original! )
Lynx was quite a character and very quirky. He was also a big fattie!
One day my youngest girl was home sick from school. I was sitting on the couch with her while she was eating her lunch and watching television. Lynx was basking in his favorite sun spot, sitting up bent in half with his head over his belly, legs outstretched (if you can picture a big tubbardo cat in this position!) and his head between his legs. He was grooming his butt.

As he innocently licked away, the loudest poot burst from his butt. He froze! - Looked at us... looked at his butt - scrambled to his feet, reached his head back around to his rear end, he looked really scared. (now mind you all of this transpired in a matter of seconds) .

He followed his butt with his nose in a circle about three times. Then he jumped into the air! When he hit the ground he took off running making a strange mrrrrow!. His loud poot scared him really bad! The poor cat pooted in his own face and it scared the living daylight out of him!

Of course, the two of us sitting on the couch watching him disolved into a fit of laughter. We couldn't stop laughing all day.

Even all these years later we still bring it up, "Remember when Lynx pooted in his own face and scared himself?"

(ok, it's lame, but it really was funny!)

Linda, that was too funny! I could just imagine the whole scene. That will have me laughing for days.
