Thanks again everyone Well another dog is what we need, but ya know we are trying to find land back in the states and IF we can find the right land for us and get a house on it {unless we find one with a house} by next fall, Darren said he would do an early return of a dependant {me & partial zoo} so with that thought in mind, we may keep her. She is doing well in her kennel now, the first night we put paper in it, only because it was the first night, and last night she had a blankie and some toys, Darren let her out at 4am before heading to work and I was up at 7am and no messes were to be found in the kennel, now we need to get on the paper training

I don't know why anybody would dump off a purebreed or any dog for that matter, we have found purebreed German Shephards in the past, as well as boxers, pit bulls, labs, greyhounds, and so forth. The only thing that can come to mind is one she was small, and 2 she is a female. We got alot of female dogs/puppies, cats/kittens around here, because Itailans in southern italy are cruel, they would rather dump a pet then steralize them. (Not all Italians are like this, thank goodness).

That really is heart-breaking. You are right, though, why would anyone want to dump off a dog at all? It's amazingly heartless and cruel.
I suppose the Italians don't have the American backwoods mentality that purebred puppy = money. At least in the South where I lived in America, it didn't matter if the purebred puppy had all the problems in the world, if it was purebred, that meant money!

I agree... Here they have very well known breeders however they have some that just would rather breed then get them steralized and that is just sad, because the end result is un-wanted animals.
