Keep Porter in your thoughts!
Just wanted to post about little Porter.He is a beagle we have at the office and altho he appears to be doing a little better since he was rescued last week,the vets don't give him long.Porter has sore eyes and ears,a tumor in his stomach and an enlarged heart and a heart murmor.The tumor is huge and they don't think he will survive anethestics for surgery because of his heart.It is such a sin to look at him,he is so pitiful.But he is happy go lucky and just likes to be with people.Poor thing...keep Porter in your thoughts...I will update soon,once I know more.He is a sweet dog.

Just wanted to update on dear ol' Porter!
He is doing sooo much better!I am happy to say that!His ears and eyes are cleared up and he is sooo happy and just wants to be loved.He is still at the office awaiting a foster or adoptive home.
The vet says Porter will probably only live one more year,but we think otherwise...just because he has gotten so much better!But you never know.

i'm glad he's doing so much better he looks like such a sweet little thing keep us updated. you have any thoughts about takeing him???

I really would love to take him!I love him so much.But me and Jason agreed not to take anymore dogs in,until we move.I am hoping to get out of here soon and then I am definatly gonna be fostering again and hopefully adopting.
However if Porter is at the office much longer I am gonna have to take him! Just because he needs love and he gets it when we go in to do the shifts,but he shouldn't have to live there at the office in a kennel enviroment,especially if he don't have much longer to live.
There is a family who are interested in him or Blue tho,so hopefully Porter will steal their hearts again!!
I will let you all know!
