Kit isn't 11 weeks old anymore...he's 12 weeks today!

I wanted to share a couple of funny pictures of him though.

I got him a snuggle puppy to help him sleep when we first got him. Now he carries it around the house and we call it "his wife"...for obvious reasons!

Aw! He's so cute with his little wife. He's looking at you like you're going to take her away from him.

What an adorable puppers.
While I am not a huge toy dog fan,I do think paps are gorgeous! And over in the "Dog Forum" (not here) I learned more about paps and can appreciate them abit more.

I look forward to seeing Kit grow up!

Ha I think Kit's going to be pretty big for a toy dog. At only 12 weeks old he's already bigger than some adult paps.

I like big dogs, but we don't have the space for one in our apartment. Maybe someday when we have a house we can look into larger breeds, but for now we decided that something smaller would be better.

Kit thinks he's a big dog though, so it works out! Papillons arn't usually shaky or as fragile as other toy breeds, and they can be very athletic. Kit is one of the smartest dogs I've ever worked with. I'm really looking forward to taking him hiking with me once he's a little older and better on his leash.

Thats what I learned over to "Dog Forum",that paps are much more stable then say a chihuahua and they are sturdy little dogs that enjoy hiking. There is a girl over there who has 4 I think and I learned alot from her. They seem like great little dogs.Big dog attitude in a small dog package!

Good to know. My husband say we're never getting another dog as large as our lab, and I've always wanted a lap dog. (Not that my lab thinks he's not a lap dog.) We'll have to look into Papillon's for our next dog.

He's so cute. I just want to snuggle him.

Paps are adorable! I don't think they are for everyone though - they are very smart and have a ton of energy. That can lead to destructive behavior if they don't get enough mental stimulation and exercise. I walk Kit twice a day, play fetch with him, and work on training him everyday - and even after all that he still has a ton of energy. Definatly do your research if you think you might want one.

Kit's 13 weeks old today, and his ears are starting to go up more! I added a picture of him to my album with one of his ears up and the other down, it's cute.

I think I have the energy thing down. My youngest dog is a border collie/blue healer mix. he has energy beyond what he, or we, know what to do with. Lot of running, training, and play time. However when we slack off he does get get destructive. He's put huge holes in both my couches.

Those pics are so cute. The urge to snuggle him has not subsided.
