Kitsune is 6 months old today! - Paw Talk

Wow the past 4 months have gone by sooo fast!

Today my not so little anymore Kit is 6 months old! He's 13lbs. I had to get him a new crate last week because he grew out of his old one, we didn't expect him to get so big! He's an amazing little guy though. He's a great hiking buddy and has really helped me to get out more and to meet lots of new people!

He's sooooo smart too. At 6 months old he already knows more commands/tricks than my parents dog learned in her whole life.

My favorite trick of his so far is "High 5", because now whenever he greats people he tries to give them high 5's, it's really funny. He's obsessed with tennis balls too, it's cute. Any chance he gets he'll shove a tennis ball into your hand and wait for you to throw it for him.

On Monday he has a vet apt to get his heartworm and lyme tests and I need to talk to the vet about and schdule his neuter. I'm soooo nervous about that, since the last pet I had go under anesthesia never woke up again.

I know it's a completly diffrent situation, but I'm still really nervous!

I'll try to post pictures later if I get a chance. We are planning on taking him to the park tonight, if it ever stops raining!

Happy monthday!! xD Puppies grow sooo fast!! i still think it was yesterday when I got Dina and she is now 8 years old.

Aww well I think he's still techniquely a puppy for at least another 6 months

They do grow soo fast! Seems like just yesterday he was looking like this...

And now he looks like this...

This is a funny one I might have posted before, but here he is giving a high 5 and making a crazy face...

And yes he still has his crazy ears (1 up and 1 down). We think they will stay that way. The only time he ever holds his floppy ear up is when he's excited.

Oh my--Kit gets cuter every time I see him!! What a precious little guy!! I wish I could scoop him up and smother him in kisses!!! I love the ears like that!!

Aww that must have been cute! No more clothes for Kit though. I had that one red shirt that I put on him once when he was 9 weeks old, but he outgrew it pretty fast and I never got him any more. He has little red boots that I was planning on using when it's cold or rainy, but he hates them.

I haaave to call his vet today and schdule his neuter, but I'm soooo nervous about it!

Kit was neutered on Monday and came home Monday afternoon just as happy and hyper as ever. His incision is looking great dispite how active he's been, and I expect he'll make a very uneventful, quick recovery.
