Lab rescue?

Does anyone know of a Lab rescue around the midwest? I just recieved a phone call from a lady who has a Lab mix that she needs to find a new home for. She is getting married next year and the dog totaly hates her fiance. We cant take her (not really equipped for dog rescues, shadow was a special case) So if anyone knows please let me know ASAP! thanks guys

did you tell her to be careful? of the fiance I mean, I usually trust my pets when they hate someone, even if it doesn't seem that there is any reason or not. I learned that the hard way, thru a lab. I'd take the dog in a heart beat, but I live in a apt. and I don't even know where Joplin mo is I don't know what mo is lol
