lab which is lame in back right leg

I have a 7 year old black lab at 92 lbs, very tall, which is lame in back right leg.

This is the fourth week now. I had a xray taken & no hip dsyplasia, no torn legiments or arthritis & no bone cancer, showed up in the xray. $400 later. Two doctors in the office looked at the xrays. She is on pain pills, but cant take anti inflamation pills due to low liver count. I am not sure where to go from here. Is it safe to give her coated aspirin. Not sure if issue is in the hock area, looked a bit swollen, I had said to vet I thought it was her foot, but vet said it wasnt her foot. Vet suggested having second opionion from professional xray technician take a look at xray for another $80 since she couldnt find anything unusual or to take another xray of her leg. The cost for leg exray is another $155. I have a appointment setup for tuesday to recheck her & possible xray on leg this time.

Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

Sorry you are going through this. I really dont know what to tell you. I would talk to your vet about giving the asprin since her liver count is low. I doubt it would be a good idea.
I would either go to another vet for a second opinion
Or get an opinion from the professional xray technician.
I dont understand why its $155 for a leg xray! my vet only charged me $45 for two x rays, one of a hip, one of his back.

I ran out of pain pills the vet gave
me like 3 times now which was about
$150 which hasnt help her. So I
checked online & they suggested coated
aspirin. 1 pill every 12 hours. Where
do you live that the xrays were only
that amount?
If I was to ask the vet for the xrays
for someone else to look at them do you think they would they
let me have them?

they will probably want to mail the xrays, but they might send them with you.
I live in southern Kentucky.

not matter what you read online I would consult a vet about the aspirin since your baby has a low liver count.

I did mention the aspirin to the vet today since I ran out & she didnt say anything. I dont know if they even know what they are doing. The one vet said nothing unusual from the xrays. I asked if you can tell if its bone cancer from the xray & she said no not from a xray. The other vet in the same office I talked to today said no signs of bone cancer either. Unbelievable.
I live in ontario, canada.
Thank You

I really think you mainly just need to go see another vet.

maybe try a holistic vet...see if she needs a chiropractic adjustment or acupuncture.

My GSD was lame in his back legs for a while...took him in to get chiro and acupuncture...he was better in 3 treatments.
