Well last nite he only bumped it once, while he and Harlie were roughhousing...I try to keep them from doing that, but there is just no way! And Sharon, I have never heard about shorter nubs being more sensitive, but I believe it...Harlie has never had a problem with her nub, and its about an inch longer than Max's nub. When Max's nub was cut when he was born, they really screwed up on him...according to our vet, which Max wasnt taken to until we got him, she said that they were supposed to pull back the fur on the tail, then crop it, and the way Max's is done, since the scab/scar points out uncovered by fur, she thinks they must have just done a straight cut, and she said they shouldnt have done it that way. But Max has had nubbin problems a lot. When he was little, he never liked it being touched, Im sure because it was sensitive, but as he got older, a scab formed on the tip instead of a scar, and occasionally it would bleed. So Im sure he wishes he never had a nub...But yeah, last nite there was just one yelping...he was holding it all the way up when him and Har were playing...Im sure for dominance, so at least he can move it up. Thanks guys!
