ok now its time for you to meet my 6 pack.......of dogs of coarse! lol ok first up is shadow, a
border collie sheltie mix, she is 7 years old, and belongs to my dad, however my dad does not live with us, and he was unable to take shadow with him, she stays with me, although I had a painting made of shadow for my dads birthday, he keep that in his living room. shadow is a real sweetheart, although she is more of a house dog, and gaurd dog, she loves to run but not in sports lol although one sport I take her to sometimes is agility, even though she does not get real pumped she does enjoy it!
heres shadow!
next up, happy. happy is my border collie, er one of them. shadow get me into the breed, and happy was first dog thats mine. she is 3 years old, B/W medium coat. after her rabies shot she became fear agressive, so we had to work really hard on that, she is still has problems with new dogs, but she has totally gotten over her fear of people and kids. she competes in agility and flyball, and made her team go from last division in flyball to 2nd division, from the team running high 20 second times, to 19 second times!
heres happys!
next up is perky! perky is a 4 year old jack russle, perky competes in musical freestle, taking second place by one point to a dog with nearly every title in the book, at her first match! we got her from the shelter for flyball however that did not work out so my mom found out of freestyle and started it with perky who LOVES it!
heres perky!
next is Ripley, a 2 year old schipperkie, bosten
terrier mix. this little guy was also from the shelter and origanally gt for a pet, but after his diet change(we feed raw) he deloped muscles and lighting quick reflexes, so we started him in flyball, he now runs low 5 second times, and an occasional 4.9 seconds! extremly fast for a 13" dog. he also helped the flyball team by lowering the jumps by 1 inch, making the team just that much faster!
Ripley:
next is Misty, my second border collie, she is 1 year old, and my gorgous baby! you have no idea how many comments I get about how gorgous misty is! I also get comments about her wonderful temperment and size, and people have even asked if I am going to breed her, because they would be intrested in a pup! well I am planning on it, assuming she passes all testing and such. misty LOVES people, and is a velcro dog, she has outstanding focus, and LOVES to learn! I mean she LOVES to learn she runs faster in flyball if I make her do her favorite trick after her run! lol
misty:
and last but not least BLAIR! a 5 month old Berger Des Pyrenees. he is in training for flyball, and freestyle, and goes to agility classes too! he is very smart, and has the greated expression, well hey its a trait of the breed! lol he honest to god looks exactly like a bear cub when he stands on his hind legs! at he was given to us by happys breeder. with the condion that if he does turn out all right(he was undershot, prick ears, and gay tail) that she would get to show him, my mom though that will never happen however so far its looking more and more like he will be shown, his ears has remained perfectly tipped, never rising or dropping, they may just be long enugh to tip, he has started carrying his tail properly(normally docked, but he was left natural) and his underbite is completly gone! lol the breeder is starting to get exited! lol not me really though, I am against showing. but he is the breeders dog, and my moms(co-ownership) so I cant do anything about it lol .
