It's amazing how different American and Canadian shelties look compared to European ones. They are much more robust and hairy-ish (and larger).

Mikey is quite the handsome sheltie! If I'm lucky, my Seamus will be handsome, too, when he loses his puppy fuzz and his adult coat comes in. I can always hope.

Yes, Mickey is a Sheltie but I don't show him. He was neutured (we signed an agreement with his breeder to do so.. I would have done it anyway).

pihlaja - I know, I have noticed a difference between them as well. As for his size.. Mickey is already much bigger than a standard Sheltie. The vet calls him "husky" (teehee, a Husky Sheltie ) as he is about 35 pounds and quite big boned.
